SALWA EID
Salwa Eid is a Beirut-based self-taught fine art photographer.
Born in 1989 with a strong passion for photography, Eid has honed her technique through various programs, both in her hometown at Dar El Moussawer and abroad at prestigious institutions such as the London School of Photography (UK) and the International Center of Photography (NY).
For her, the creative process holds equal importance as the final outcome. By experimenting with a blend of traditional and modern photography techniques and empowering her subjects, Eid strives to tell captivating stories that resonate with her own beliefs.
Eid has showcased her talent through notable solo exhibitions, including “Inkblots” in 2018 at 392 Rmeil 393, Beirut, and “Beirut Unpublished” in 2022 at Zalfa Halabi Art Gallery. Additionally, She has participated in several collective exhibits such as the 2019 exhibition at 392 Rmeil 393, the Pop Up Art Gallery by Sleeping with the Enemy Production in Beirut in 2020, the Pop Up Exhibition - Paris Edition I at 389 La Boutique in Paris is 2022, and the Dear Moon exhibition at Zalfa Halabi Art Gallery, Beirut in 2022.
